Saw a news on facebook this afternoon ...

Mandarin Films Distribution announced that discussions are underway to shoot IP MAN 3 with singer Jay Chou and Donnie Yen. Mr. Chou may play martial arts legend Bruce Lee...

Whether it's true or not, a lot of quick response were splurted across the wall of this status...

And interesting enough, later tonight I've found out a group "假如周杰伦饰演李小龙一角，我们就杯葛叶问3" was created saying if Jay Chou were to act as Bruce Lee, they'll boycott Ip Man 3!

For those who couldn't read Chinese, the description's basically:

In our hearts, Bruce Lee couldn't be portrayed by a person who doesn't look like him at all. Especially a person whom has only one expression & can't act like Jay Chou. We insist not wanting him to appear in Ip Man 3.

Hereby we'd like to tell the director that if Jay Chou appear in Ip Man 3 as Bruce Lee, we will definitely boycott Ip Man 3.

Mr Jay Chou, please don't spoil the image of Bruce Lee. Your performance will be a guarantee disaster for the film.

Personally I don't mind whether or not Jay Chou portrays Bruce Lee but... Me, just like those who joined the group, isn't interested to see him in Donnie Yen's movie. I mean... He'll spoil all the "yeng"-ness of Donnie Yen!

I don't mind seeing Jay Chou in romance movie such as his "Secret" but seriously, ACTION? Sigh... Of all we know so far most of the film he participated didn't have good review. Ok, to be fair, maybe it's the script-writer's problem.

But then again I doubt the protest on facebook will have any say of whether Jay Chou's gonna portray Bruce Lee as there's so many Jay Chou fans out there are still willing to pay to watch him. And for my case, I'm still gonna watch it for Donnie Yen's appearance :P

**PS: Why don't they consider Danny Chan Kwok Kwan instead? Well, at least he LOOKS very alike Bruce Lee. and memang he already acted in a few film as Bruce Lee :P**

24到26岁就是这么一个尴尬的年纪——无法把自己当少年，但也没有人把你太当真。
但从24岁开始，有些事情一定要开始做，有些事情也一定要更明白，目的是为了从24岁起，不为任何人，只为自己活得更精彩！
人生
1，把重返校园充电认真列入计划，并在30岁前再次毕业。
2，如果在现在的岗位上已经连续3年没有任何提升，果断炒了老板。
3，现在是转到另一个全然陌生的行业的最后时机，要想变就趁现在！
4，不要以为自己还有标准、还有原则、还有底线。你以为是你在强奸生活吗？
5，把任何别人看起来是堕落的行为或爱好转换成特长：嗜酒就喝成鉴赏专家、沉迷打网游就去卖装备卖号、爱混夜店就去城市杂志当编辑、喜欢显摆就去晒货网当版主。
6，可以养宠物，但不要把宠物当子女。
7，硬性储蓄收入的30%，哪怕只能坚持一年。

My dad saw in the paper classified the other day about a car for sale.

It wrote something like:

“Nissan Sunny 1994. Fully restored, a lot of new parts, well functioned… 

Sadly daughter can’t drive manual.”

Hahaha… Well, i think that happens a lot nowadays. My aunt also sold of her car cos my cousins can’t drive her manual.

Guess the Character

Just like normal gathering, most of them starts with an ice-breaker. So the other day we had this “Guess the animated character”:-

-There were written slips for you to pick, then after you chose the random slip, it will be stick on your forehead without you looking at it. By now, EVERYONE in the room will be able to see & know the character on your forehead EXCEPT yourself.

-Everyone gets a turn to ask anyone ONE question in a round, and the round goes on..

-The question you ask may only be a “Yes or No” question.

Well, since we were being notified that the characters will be in animation/cartoon category, people who grew up in so many cartoons in my head will have to seriously squeeze the brain juice out of my head to guess a specific one leh… Even Disney alone there’s >100 cartoons, what’s more there’s WB, Pixar & a whole lot variety of animated character?!

Ok, I’m sounding way too serious for an ice-breaker here… Some of the character on the spot were Powerpuff Girl, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Superman… It seems easy, right?

And so i asked a few questions:

-Is my character a male? (YES)

-Is my character a cartoon?(YES)

-Is my character from Disney? (NO)

-Is my character a superhero? (NO)

-Is my character an animal? (YES)

Could you guess what was the character on my forehead by now? Well, I didn’t get the guess after a few person guessed their character right while the rest of us were considered lost.

facebook无所不在

facebook这玩意儿，相信大家都不陌生。

我不得不承认facebook还真的有点厉害。记得某天我心血来潮，就输入了我N年前的荷兰笔友的名字查询（对，当时家里还没internet得我就真的 是写在信纸上的越洋书信认识了那么一位大姐姐... 不过在大概通信了一两年后就不了了之了）。当然，当真的查询到她的名字的时候，我还犹豫了一下：不是吧？还真的被我找到了吗？before adding her我就先传了一个message给她打个招呼问一下。
结果还真的是她本人咧，而她也还记得我~ 呵呵，网络的美妙啊！

不过当然，找回好多的中小学同学... 可这就有些小问题了... 当年小小的我们，大家都用中文名啊，就算中学也都用本名的；现在facebook上放眼望过去一堆洋名字...
由于我的“洋名”本来就是我自小身份证明上的本名，所以很多都不会错认我... 可是那些要add我的人，我望着那小小的头像看了老半天，只觉得好面熟啊，可是这名字...到底是谁啊？ 哎，非常抱歉，在下的社交圈子有点点太广了，记忆容量有限。（所以啊，如果某天我突然传个消息问一下你到底是谁，请多包涵~）

One of my favourite entertainment programme 就是鼎鼎大名的“康熙来了”，我欣赏蔡康永和小S。虽然有些人会认为这个节目毫无营养，可是看娱乐节目不就是要笑开怀就好，那么认真干嘛呢？

今天，我仍然还是无所事事就开最新一集来看了... 今天的内容我不甚感兴趣，而且“变装”后的明星们真的有点伤眼睛。
Anyway，那些都不是重点... 我跳着看至于，我听到小甜甜说了那么一句：「我现在有玩facebook...」

Malaysian很早以前就开始在玩了，可是现在台湾人也才越来越多人开始join啊？
通称无聊人的我，好奇了一下下，在这睡不着觉的夜晚就查询了“小甜甜”一下... 结果...

还真的有咧！当然，既然不是朋友，我也看不了她的资料（我也不会变态到会真的想去窥人家隐私），我就点击了“View Friends”... 然后发觉竟然有不少台湾艺人也在玩耶。
*不过由于头像太小，而且也都是英文名字多，所以我认得出来的只有几个 eg 李玖哲、Ella*

不过艺人们一个不小心加了那些不认识的人的话不是很危险吗？hmm... *反正不管我事*

This meeting will determine official government policies to take action against global warming, which will replace the Kyoto Protocol. It is the chance for the people of the world to make their voice heard.

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness.

In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet. Over 74 countries and territories have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009, and this number is growing everyday.

We all have a vote, and every single vote counts. Together we can take control of the future of our planet, for future generations.

Some of you might wonder, how would it change anything at all just by switching off the lights for ONE HOUR? DID IT MATTER?
Well, According to TIME Magazine:

The average American produces about 20 tons of the major greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO2) every year. That might sound like a lot — and Americans do have among the biggest carbon footprints in the world — but the entire world emits around 27 billion tons of CO2 each year, through transportation, electricity use, deforestation. Look at those numbers for a moment, and you'll realize there's very little that any of us can do on an individual level to stop climate change. Live like a monk, take away your 20 tons — stop breathing if you'd like — and you'll barely scratch the surface.

And according to 《大马环境全纪录》：(after translation)

1.The state government of Taoyuan, Taiwan implemented the "Switch off the lights for one hour EVERY AFTERNOON" policy in respond to reducing CO2. Even the elevators will be switched down within the hour. Within 6 months, the state of Taoyuan has saved a total of NT$2.45million (equivalent to RM260k, about RM43k a month!)

2.Lighting normally account for 15%-20% of every household electricity bill. So IF every household switch off the light for one house, the accumulated electricity is enough for you to watch one hour of late night news EVERYDAY for a month.

3.According to estimation, when a 100,000 people in a city switch off the lights simultaneously = switch off 3 million bulbs of 100Watts = 187 tonnes of CO2 reduced. This equals to reducing carbon waste being expel into the air by 70,000 cars during peak hours!
