Gloria Jean's Divine Latte + Raisin Scone

Weeks ago I received an email from Dealmates stating that in order to reward our support, they've credited a "Christmas gift" of RM10 value into my account!

About the same time, I saw this offer Distinctively Divine Latte + Raisin Scone for RM10 instead of RM15.50 at Gloria Jean's Coffees. So why not? Just give it a try!

The voucher is only redeemable at Mid Valley's Gloria Jean's Coffee,so I went there on Boxing Day.
Frankly, Gloria Jean's location is not a corner that I would notice if not for this deal. It's at a corner of Boulevard, right beside Maybank.

However, the barista was VERY FRIENDLY! Though Gloria Jean's lot is just a small corner and it's kinda hot as it's not air-conditioned, it really made an impression on me!

I waited for a while, and this is what I got... :)

The latte was nicely made even though it was a take away... and it taste awesomely NICE!! *So nice that my bf drank up most of it... :( * 
The scone was heated and nicely packed...
Not to say the scone portion is satisfying!

Well, I must say this deal really is an eye opener for me towards Gloria Jean's Coffee... No wonder Aussie love them so much!

Beef Noodle @ Pasar Besar Seremban

昨天到芙蓉大巴刹的上层吃早餐,这里有一档牛腩粉,你会看到整个food court最多人徘徊在排队的,就是它了。
因为出名,顾客多,所以也还真的必须等好久好久...
据说面条是店家自制的,挺爽口。 牛肉不会有太多牛筋,易入口。汤汁也不错...
一切等待还是值得的。

* 当然,大巴刹除了这牛腩粉,还有不少的美食,就像鱿鱼米粉、猪什粥、rojak... 都是卖了数十年的好手! 不过其他的我没拍照... 下次吧 * :)

我要烤火鸡

话说昨晚我有一股想要吃Roast Turkey过平安夜的欲望,可是当然... 烤火鸡并不是说买就买到的。

今早吃早餐,竟然看到烧腊档有烧火鸡!!
原本心里有小高兴,难道我想吃烤火鸡的愿望会实现吗?
结果询问一下,那是人家预订了的...

可是后来到友人家探望宝宝,他们有昨晚烧烤剩下的烤火鸡!! 就弄热请我吃了... *贪吃鬼*

菠菜面 @ 香港面家

今天的早餐原本要去吃芙蓉出名的客家面,可结果店家休假,我们就去吃这也很出名的“香港面家”了。

这店面的招牌可以看得出一些年纪了,斑驳的红色招牌上写着脱漆的“香港面家 Shiang Kang” 。

进到店里,它们的菜单就写在厨房窗口的两侧,左边写着食物(不多,就是冬菇鸡脚面、咖哩鸡面、冬菇面、全旦叉烧面、鲜虾水饺... ... 都是香港面的基本款),右边写着饮料。

我原本就只是点咖哩鸡面,可是我朋友点了“咖哩鸡菠菜面”!我问了一下才知道原来这里有店家自制的菠菜面,挺出名的,可是菜单上没特别注明有菠菜面... 所以我也跟着一起点了。

龟苓膏

前些日子阿嫲的邻居到中国旅行带了一些龟苓膏粉当手信,放在角落都没有人去弄...
今天心血来潮看到只是那么简单,吃过晚饭后就直接动手了。

包装上的步骤:
1. 备10g的粉,用少许温水搅拌至粘稠。
2. 加入 200ml 的热水稀释。
3. 加热3分钟。
4. 待凉后可加入糖水食用。

结果做出来就这样... 基本上离开火之后它就开始凝结了,有点像agar-agar,很简单。
不过吃的时候懒惰准备糖水,结果用蜜糖水替代... 有点怪...
