Cows Spotted

Yesterday while I was on my way to pick up my sis, I saw COWS by the roadside.

NOT that I never seen a cow before but beside a MAIN ROAD in front of AEON Jusco Bukit Tinggi? Well, that's kinda weird place to spot cows... * I always thought I'd see cows only in more kampung areas*

Thus taking a moment to snap a pic of this spotty cow while I was waiting for the traffic light...

My Dream Destination

I always have this 'thing' for old red bricks houses, castles and all since I was a kid. It's probably I used to read Enid Blyton and all kinda English books while I was a kid. But so far as I've ever been nearest to English homes was those English cottages my family used to go for a short trip up in the Camerons. Yes, Cameron Highlands only... Where we used to burn firewoods at the fireplace in the living room at night. COOL~
Anyhow, when I started reading Harry Potter series which drew me so addicted to it, I start to grew fond of the European country more! Imagine the days where I finish Harry Potter Book 1-4 all in one shot sitting beside the fireplace in the Camerons. COOL~
During my secondary years, my ultimate dream was to studying somewhere in Cambridge, a living history & sanctuary of education. But then life's always go the other way round & I ended up in Shanghai *for God knows why*...
Looking at the pictures my friends have when they go tour around Europe during their student exchange programme in uni seriously rub it in sometimes, yet you still feel amazed of the beauty of the places.
So after the movie Harry Potter came about, with the scenes of Alnwick Castle,

King's Cross Station, Oxford, Fort Williams, etc... Yes I know it's like a lame tourist destination yet I still wanna have a visit some of these places.
Then if I have the money & time, perhaps from England,  I can fly over to Netherlands to visit a friend of mine. :)
I know all dreams are possible, all you need is good planning & preparation… You can get some travelling tips which  RedMommy shared some in this episode of Project Alpha season 2.

今早一起身就不妥，一直流鼻水...

下午那热热的天气，如果开冷气，担心着凉；没开冷气的结果，全身发热。

明天本应是地球日，可结果今天的鼻水让我用了不少的纸巾，好不环保！

想要看PPS来解闷，就看到百勤写说由于要哀悼青海遇难的人，所以今天所有内地的网站都休息。

无聊之极，原本想打一打一个博文，然后发觉那博文比赛昨天到期了，哎，失策！结果就变成把以往在Window Live的博文都搬到blogspot来。不懂怎么集体搬，只好一篇一篇copy paste，真的疯了我~

希望这两天会好起来吧，否则这忙碌的周末就够我头痛啦！

My Version of Grooming Tips

When talk about “grooming”, most people will relate to “Care for one's personal appearance, hygiene, and clothing” which in short means beauty care!

For girls, there's always another step in which most guys need not worry much is MAKE-UP! And we ALL are well aware of the magic of make up.

Example below:

  *yeah I know I should put some effort into making make-up a daily routine*

Anyhow, I'm pretty sure when you LOOK good, you wanna SMELL good too, right?

Imagine when you're out on a movie with a gorgeous looking date, and throughout the show you THINK you smell sweat! *and you have to stuck with that odd smell for the next 2 hours~* At least that's what I've experienced today in the cinema though I went to the show alone, neither one of the person seating beside me is my date. *and I'm not sure whether the smell comes from the stranger guy beside me or the seat I was in*

For now, I can't be 100% sure about LOOKING that gorgeous BUT I can be 100% sure I SMELL good all the time with Adidas Action 3! I got a sample from attending Project Alpha Season 2 Bloggers' Launch 2 weeks ago & started using since & I'm LOVING IT!

Eureka

Eureka is an exclamation used as an interjection to celebrate a discovery, meaning approximately "I have found it".

I first heard this term from Pastor, when he talked about the eureka moments in life. The things you do to give you the inspiration/idea of something. Pastor said, “if you are  getting inspiration by takin shower, then shower more.” Like wise, if you get inspiration more by exercise, then just do it!

But then, everyone's eureka moments are different. Some gets inspiration through sleeping, praying, music, etc. Seriously all these while I THOUGHT my eureka moments were time before sleeping (as I seriously think a lot before I sleep) and through movies (movies make me think of a lot of perspective in life)...

Least did I know my inspiring moments are not just the two mentioned (not that they are very good choices of eureka either). Just now as I was having my lunch, it suddenly came "bang" into my mind... Why am I suddenly thinking about eureka? I suddenly realised my mind was relaxed and the flow just comes when I AM EATING!

omg... So now what? Inspiration through FOOD? I know nice food makes my day but that also means...  fat?

Seriously, what's your eureka moment?

想怎样？

当我有一度沉迷于看电影的时候，心情很愉快；可是旁人好像就是觉得我怎么都在看电影...

好啦，最近没什么特别吸引我的电影，所以也就收敛了一点… 而现在旁人就总会问：最近怎么都没看电影？

哎... 真的... 难道旁人的角色就是什么状况都要插上一嘴才爽吗？ 真的 pek chek... 可我心情不爽，又变成是我的错了。

Stuck!

Yesterday after church, and when i was about to go home, i realised my car couldn't start! It was kinda late in the afternoon and most people has gone home.

I was practically stuck in the car park in front of the church! I called my sis whom was still in Subang, yet she said she's on the way for a swim at her friend's place… *orz… swimming is more important than your helpless sis is it?*

Sent a few sms to few friends that might be nearby but no reply...

Called my brother, THANK GOD he's around Subang, and he immediately came to my rescue! He checked and realised the battery has dried up… *sigh... obviously i'm the typical lady driver whom never thought of checking car batteries...*

We went to get some battery water and filled it up it still can't start, we needed a jumper cable which we don't have...

At this point, I have the urge of rambling again so I simply sent another sms to Tai Loong. And THANK GOD I SENT THAT SMS~ Wow, because of his help, he manage to contact few others who were still in church and GOT JUMPER CABLE!!

Weee~ Thank God for my bro, Tai Loong,  Jin Chong, Tony & Kim Eng for rescuing my car ( & me)...

Lesson learnt: Need to start paying attention to the car, man... *and a simple help will really save a person's day~*

♨Bakuteh – Pandamaran 封肉

Last week, TL came back from Sabah and he felt like having Klang bakuteh. Thus the rest of the gang agreed and all came to Klang for it.

It was drizzling early in the morning. Such a cool weather for sleep-in, and yet here we are, waking up early just to meet up for breakfast. Haha.. It's ok, ANYTHING for good food & friends, right?

Before 9am, car 1 (me, Elsa  & David) were waiting at the SHELL station BEFORE Batu Tiga toll as being told to meet at 9am. While we wait, we cam-ho a bit... :)

  

Later only did we find car 2 mistaken the toll mentioned, and went all the way to Klang toll instead... Thus car 1 rushed to the spot to meet up.

Apparently it's not the first time driver car 2 mistaken the toll... Well, at least he did his best of offering himself as driver though he's not from Klang Valley...

Anyhow, we reached the bakuteh shop in Pandamaran, and ordered our meal.

Then after finishing our food, we sat there and talked about the supernatural events that we heard around... XD

Before leaving, Xynia suggested watching "How To Train Your Dragon" so we head over to Jusco Bukit Tinggi for it... Well, that's another story.

咬牙

最近非常的嘴馋…

吃完晚饭后过了一会儿，明明还很胀，可是却一直想咬东西。

我不吃口香糖，所以纯属咬爽，却不会饱不会肥的东西几乎没有… 那天还问爸爸说：为什么我们人类就没有像狗狗的那种磨牙棒？一直咬一直咬都不会吃进肚子…

不过也对，我们人类的牙齿又不会一直长一直长，若是有磨牙饼，不用多久就把牙齿磨光光了。

没有东西咬，唯有忍…静下心来不要去想“我很嘴馋”…

继续上网的同时，突然发觉面部的肌肉有点酸酸的，才发现自己一直处于咬牙切齿、几乎是磨牙的状态…

想了想，应该就是潜意识开始有压力了，而且很大的压力…

在大家看起来，可能现在我这种颓废的悠闲生活还真的是没什么好烦恼的。

错了！ 世界上还有比一切工作压力更stress的~ 那叫做“人情压力”！ 社交压力真的很难顶啊~ 耐心都快磨光了...

My Date Night

There's this upcoming movie called "The Date Night", starring Steve Carell & Tina Fey. It's about how the couple's day night out turned out to be an unforgetable run and hide event!

 

My most memorable date was back in college, 20.6.2003, the day before "Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix" was launched! Haha… *You know how memorable is THAT, I even remember the DATE~*

 

Well, since me and my date are huge Harry Potter fans, we wanna grab hold of the book as soon as possible, and what's more, Kinokuniya KLCC was giving out GREAT discounts for the first 100 customers!

So that afternoon after class, we've just decided we'll be psycho ONCE for the sake of the book, we decided to go QUEUE and WAIT!

 

But back then being normal college students WITHOUT a car, we left our college in the evening and went to KLCC for dinner. We know it'll be a VERY LONG night waiting, so we've decided to watch a mid-night show... I've forgot what's the name of the Indian movie though. *Yes, as we've been hanging around in cinemas after class weekly, the only movie that interested us and left unseen is an Indian movie~ and the best part is IT'S 3-HOUR-LONG so our wait outside could be shorter*

 

By the time the movie finished it was about 2AM. Without public transport, we couldn't go anywhere, not that we want to anyway so we basically WAITED OUTSIDE KLCC... We've walked around, played some cards and then decided to sit down and read some novels. *Thank God for BOOKS*

 

We thought there would be a lot of crazy people like us waiting for the whole night but apparently the first crazy person didn't show up until it's 4:30AM… *The other humans we saw throughout the night were the security guards and the janitors..*

 

Anyhow, after the first person show up, there's more people showing up as time passes, with their parents or grandparents being dragged up early in the morning to send them there...

Before the entrance of KLCC was opened, there's already a HUGE crowd squeezing in front of it, including us. And the MOMENT the door was opened... *BOOM* EVERYONE PUSHED & RAN like there's a tiger behind and we're RUNNING FOR OUR LIVES~ *We have to RUN UP the NOT MOVING ESCALATOR*

You can see slippers flying slippers then being abandoned because the owner just keep running up!

 

*deep breath* THANK GOODNESS by the time we ran up to the 3rd floor and queue up, we were customer 95-97~!!! Yay yay yay~ and we all got our book at GREAT discount~!!

 

THAT was a GREAT NIGHT out~!! Oops.. Did I mentioned that my crazy dateS were TWO crazy GIRLS?! Miss you girls so much~!! *Hey, nobody set a rule that your date MUST be a guy and MUST be only one person, right?*

 

Nuffnang is giving away 90 pairs of tickets to "Date Night", I hope I can get the tickets so I can watch it (on behalf of the girls)~ *and who knows MAYBE this time my date would be a cute GUY? XD*
